Short-lived access. Clear controls.

Privacy Lock

Switching away hides readable data and requires the backup password again.

Automatic clearing

Two minutes of inactivity clears the file by default. Settings can extend this to five or ten minutes.

Close when finished

Close File clears the current recovery session. Clear copied passwords from your clipboard yourself.

A compromised device, malicious extension, screenshots, or clipboard monitoring can expose unlocked values. Read the threat model.
